Get to know me
EMADIA SMITH, LMFT
Hi! My name is Emadia. I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist. I enjoy working with individuals from all walks of life, creating a space where people feel seen, supported, and understood. My approach focuses on helping you make sense of where you come from and better understand your experiences, relationships, and patterns. I want to support you in exploring how those experiences shape the way you think, feel, and connect today. Together, we’ll work to deepen self-understanding, strengthen relationships, develop tools to manage life’s ups and downs, and move toward a more grounded, intentional version of you.
You’re in the right place if you’re looking to work with a therapist who shows up with honesty, care, and realness. Therapy with me is collaborative, which means we’ll work together to figure out what feels right for you, at your pace. Whether you're navigating anxiety or panic, feeling stuck in relationships, exploring your identity, facing uncertainty about the future, or dealing with patterns like codependency or attachment struggles, you don’t have to carry it all alone. If you're feeling disconnected from yourself or others, I’m here to help you reconnect — to your emotions, your needs, and your sense of self. I bring warmth, curiosity, and compassion into the room, and I believe healing happens in spaces where you feel safe to show up fully. Wherever you're starting from, your story is welcome here.
When i’m not in the therapist role, I stay connected to my own growth through reflection, creativity, and the things that bring me joy. I find comfort in baking, crafting, and getting lost in a good book — and I deeply value slow moments shared with friends, family, and the people who make me feel most like myself.
